find the default file path in word

I can use this in excel to find the default file path but it crashes in
word, how would I do it in word

MsgBox Application.DefaultFilePath

Word has lots of default file paths. You get to them via

Application.Options.DefaultFilePath

But you need to supply an argument for the path you want, eg

Application.Options.DefaultFilePath(wdDocumentsPath)


FYI, that's not "crashing" -- it's a simple error.
