Hello, for some reason when I try to use the find tool, its not working. For
example, I go to the edit menu and click on find. In find what I put Paul,
the within is set as sheet, search is set to by columns, and look in is set
to values. When I click on find next, it says microsoft office excel cannot
find the data you're searching for. But I see the name on the worksheet.

Make sure the following two check boxes are not checked.
1-Match Case
2- Match Entire Cell Contents

neither of those are checked.

Kevin Vaughn

If you have selected cells before doing the find it will only search through
the selected range. This is one of things that happens to me most
frequently. I don't know if it is relevant in your situation.
