Finding a good Access developer

Hi,
Anybody know how to find a good Access developer?
How do know if they're any good? (examples of work? qualifications?)
Does working only over the web work or do you need face to face to get a complex project to work properly?
Would you choose a developer from a company set up or a private individual?
Any thoughts?

Anybody know how to find a good Access developer?

You can do a search on the internet for Access Developer and probably get a
good number of hits returned. You can also search through the Access
newsgroups and look for anyone with the moniker "MVP" in his or her
signature. (hmmmmmmmm....is that a shameless promotion? No, cause I have
more than I can handle right now.)

Having them send you a sample database that they designed might be a good
indicator. Especially if they can send you something that is similar to
what you are looking for.

That depends on your ability to communicate your business needs via email.
Face to face is probably always better, but not absolutely essential.

You can find good and bad in either situation.
