I have a file with a number of links to other excel files.

Is there a way of finding in which cells these lie?

You could search for [ or .xls or other stuff, but I really like Bill Manville's
findlink.zip from:

http://www.BMSLtd.co.uk/MVP/Default.htm

You could do an Edit>Find on "["(no quotes) but there is an easier method.

Download Bill Manville's FINDLINK.XLA from Stephen Bullen's site.

With this add-in you can find and delete links.
