Finding mail items through contacts

Hi,
I have this question where i am writing a small program
which tries to identify the mails which is related to a
contact item.

eg: Let say Mail A has Contact A as the recipient.
If i am to loop through the contactitem in the contact
folder

I do not want to loop each mail in the sentitem folder to
search for the contact item under the mail recipients . Is
there any way which is faster?
