I am using outlook 2003 with multiple email accounts;
only one email account is allowed to actually send smtp
mail.
I read an email with a "read receipt" request, and when
prompted, clicked on "yes" to send the receipt. Outlook
is trying to send the receipt to an smtp server which is
blocked; this generates a failure message with error code
0x800CCC0F, which is actually correct (not the problem).
The problem is, I can't find the read receipt email in my
outbox, its not showing up. Has Microsoft started hiding
things *again*?
In outlook 2000, when I had this problem I would just
open the read receipt in the outbox and change the
account to reply through.
