finding shapes or text box within a word 2000 document

Is there a way to identify the page number in a Word
document that contains a shape (e.g. a rectangle or text
box)? Are shapes tied to a paragraph mark? If so - is
there a way to find the page number containing the
paragraph to which the shape is tied.
