Finding the Financial Year Month Number

Hi there,

I'm trying to find a formula to return the month in the financial year, eg
Oct is month number 4, but the month() function is based on calendar year.
Can anyone help??

Hi Tiffany,

There has to be a bettter way but this should work,

=IF(MONTH(A1)<7,MONTH(A1)+6,MONTH(A1)-6)
