Finds deleted names

I have recently deleted John Smith from my address book. When I am sending
mail if I type j into the to: Box John Smith is listed in the available
contacts. Where does outlook obtain this reference and is it possible to
prohibit this from happening.

The AutoComplete feature does not use your contacts, but a cache of the
addresses you've previously used. See this:
