Printing should be a simple process but it always seems there is just one
more problem.
The simple task is. Page 1 should print on letter head. All other pages
print on plain paper. There are settings in the printer driver to make this
happen. Also this can be set using word 2003. Oh but the problem begins if
page 1 is actually 2 pages. Now what ???. Why doesn't the page format allow
me to set the paper type for each section and let the printer figure out
which tray to use. ?

Hi Conrad,

put in a section break at the end of your 2 page header (insert > break >
next page) you can then use file > page setup > paper to set up different
trays for the different sections.

Thanks that will work but where do I set the paper type. I can find where to
set the paper size etc. But I cannot select that page 2 is letterhead paper
using auto tray. Most of the users do not use the same printer always. Letter
head paper may be in tray 1 or tray 2 etc. We would like to let the printer
figure out what tray to use we just tell the printer what paper and size I
want to use. Any ideas on this one. ?
