Fiscal week

Fiscal week? Has someone come up with a new way to define your week. As far
as I know there are only fiscal years. A fiscal year is a year that starts
and ends at a time different than the calendar year. If that's being applied
to a week, it would mean that the week starts on a day other than Sunday or
Monday. Some Access functions do have an allowance to start on any day of
the week. The DateDiff() and DatePart() functions both have that capacity.

To set a fiscal week, one would need to know the start day and the starting
week of the year. Then use the DateDiff() function to create a fiscal week
function for your requirements.

There are also fiscal months, where your months will always Start at the
beginning of a week and end at the end of a week.

For example a fiscal December 2004 would start on 11/28/04 and end on 1/1/05.

So perhaps Kim is looking for the first and last days of a fiscal month?
or the week number a given date is in her fiscal year?

i can only give you a hint to get the week:

User-Defined Date/Time Formats (Format Function)

ww Display the week of the year as a number (1 – 54).

If you expect an answer to a personal mail, add the word "manfred" to the first 10 lines in the message
