Fiscal year in the enterprise global template

Hi there! I am deploying Project Server 2003 and have run into an
issue. The company I'm deploying for uses a fiscal calendar starting
the beginning of November. I have opened the Enterprise Global and
edited the standard calendar to begin the fiscal year in November. But
it isn't carrying over when I create a new project. Is there something
additional I need to do to ensure that all projects use a fiscal
calendar beginning in November?

Sincerely,
Gary

Gary --

You are misunderstanding the purpose of the Enterprise Global file. This
file controls only two aspects of the Project Server environment:

1. It is your organization's "library" of custom Views, Tables, Filters,
Groups, Reports, Fields, etc.
2. The currency value you set in this file controls the currency in every
project.

As you can see, neither of the functions of the Enterprise Global if what
you are assuming. Therefore, if you wish for everyone to use the fiscal
year, each project manager must set this manually in every current project,
and you should set this in every enterprise project template as well. Hope
this helps.
