fit power function - what is "E"

I have a user that fit a power function in Excel and the
equation came back with y=2E+ 19x^-11. What is "E"?

E is a constant which has the value of 2.7182818, which is
the natural base of a logarithm.

Larry,

That's scientific notation, meaning a formula of the form:

y = 2x10^19/(x^11)

in other words, probably not a good fit, since high powers are usually
bad in those situations.

"e" is the constant you are describing "E" precedes powers of 10 in
scientific notation.
