My MS Word 2000 is suddenly performing poorly. I have
one major document that I can't access. As soon as I
open it, it crashes. I have been reading other posts for
help ( especially helpful was

I am convinced that I have a corrupt file. (I changed my
NAV setting and upgraded to Adobe 5.0.5)
I am lost about how to fix a corrupt file. The article
says to change the normal.dot files. Where do I do
this? I don't understand how to find the extensions?
