Fix for ruler anomolies in Word2003?

Anyone have problems with ruler? The ruler seems to stop working quite often.
Sometimes see ruler get corrupted graphically. Work-around seems to be ruler
off then on... or print preview and back to edit mode.

That *never* happens here, nor with any of the other computers I use. The
problem might be your graphics driver. You might try visiting the web site
for your graphics card and see if they have an updated driver you can use.
