Fix for Word loading slowly..READ

FYI -
Just read that Norton's Security certificate (via
Verisign) may have expired last night(?), which may be
showing as "Word Loading slowly.."

DSL Reports has a reported fix at the link below:

....which is basically, run download Liveupdate manually,
and run it separately.

Liveupdate installed can be access from the following
address:

ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/liveupdate
/

the accuracy of any of this is entirely coincidental.

Rather than lowing your Internet security settings another option is
in Norton go to Options and in the Miscellaneous section turn off
"Enable Office Plug-in".

If you are not using a version of Norton that contains this option
then:

Search for officeav.dll and if found go to Start/Run and run the
following command:

regsvr32 /u "c:\program files\norton antivirus\officeav.dll"

In the above example the path for "Officeav.dll" would depend on the
location of the DLL.
