This should be easily hidden. All it does it take up screen space I could use for my document.

I've *NO* idea what "This" refers to, since you've (a) changed the
subject line, (b) referenced an article no longer on the msnews server,
and (c) not included any of the referenced article as a quotation.

And since there's no clue what *platform*, much less what *application*,
much less which *version*, I won't hazard a guess.

I agree the Elements Gallery bar should be removable. It takes up a lot of space if its not being used.
