Fixed cost is flowing in two financial years

Hi,

I am using Project 2007 and have allocated a fixed cost to individual
task. On eof the task is flowing in two financial years and this fixed
cost is now showing in both the financial years.

I have tried to change the accrual method from Start to Finish to
Prorated, however, it does not change the report I am looking through.

I am refering the report available at Report > Reports > Costs >
Budget.

Please advise.

Hi Kishore,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

I can't reproduce this. What version of Project and SR are you using? Try
checking the Task Usage view, right click in the yellow cells and select
Cost. It should show exactly when the cost is assigned.
