Fixed width between the lines

Hi everyone
I am getting constantly annoyed that everytime i insert a Mathtype object,
Word(XP) accomodates by making the the distance between the lines larger,
which makes the document look sloppy. For example when inserting af capital
letter theta or pi from mathtype. Is there anyway to fix this distance-

You can specify fixed line spacing through Format > Paragraph.
Under Line Spacing, select Exactly, and enter the desired amount.

In the Format menu, choose "paragraph". Under Line Spacing, click th
dropdown arrow and choose "Exactly" and put in an amount to the right
You might have to play with it a little to get it how you like it, bu
the lines will all stay exactly the same that way
