Flagged Items in shared mailbox

Hi

I have got a shared mail box (Inbox & Subfolders) that users open in their own outlook profiles within their folder list. My problem is. If a user flag a mail within the shared mailbox no reminder pops up when the time is due... We use Outlook XP and 2003.

Is this feature not possible when users do this within a shared mailbox?

The follow up reminders only work when the message is in a default folder
(like Inbox, Contacts, Tasks, etc...) of the users mailbox.

By default reminders only fire in your default Inbox, Calendar, Tasks or
Contacts folders. To get reminders from elsewhere you would need a 3rd party
addin. See Reminder Manager in my signature for one such addin.
