Flags not working

My flags do not work. I am using them correctly.."follow-up" "flag" but they
do not take 100% of the time. Sometimes I can use them other times they
don't work or when they do they won't clear.

I tried "detect and repair" but they are still unstable.

What's going on?

WE have no idea since you did not post your version of Outlook, if this is
using Exchange or a personal folders file. ALso, you failed to mention
where these flagged items reside. Flags will only work in default folders.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, HT asked:
