Flash file does not run

I'm using several flash slides on a presentation. One of them does not run
automatically, I can get it to run manually by reloading it.
How can I get it to run automatically on a click. I have had no problem
doing this with other flash files on autorun PPS shows.

That Flash file might have some ActionScript controlling the play?

How can I determine if an action script is determining the play and how
might I control it?

You'll have to talk to the person who created the SWF.
