Hello All
I have a new computer (Latitude E6500) fresh out of the box with Office 2007
Pro Installed. Any time I am in Outlook the mouse pointer is constantly
going between the hourglass and the pointing arrow. It only happens in
outlook and NO other programs. Like I said it is new and have only installed
Kaspersky and Mozilla on it so far. I did import a backup of my outlook file
from my previous computer (Was running Outlook 2003 on that one).

If someone could help it would be greatly appreciated before I have a
seizure from the flashing.

Is Outlook doing a send/receive, archive, or synch while the mouse is an
hourglass?

Open Outlook in safe mode (Start > Run > outlook.exe /safe) and see if the
behaviour continues.

Have you tried Office Diagnostics?

Hi Karen...o so I tried the diagnostics and it said it repaired something
(But didn't say what) and it still happens, however in safe mode the flashing
pointer problem dosen't happen. Would like to scream every time I am trying
to write an email.

Thanks for you help so far

Safe mode disables all add ins that integrate with Outlook. If Outlook works
properly in safe mode, then you should look to your add ins.
