Floppy drive makes noise when starting visio

Every time I start Visio, the "A" drive starts whirring
even though I don't use it, haven't used it in ages and
especailly didn't use it while in visio.

You should go to Tools > Options > File Paths or Tools > Options > Advanced
File Paths just to make sure there isn't a A: directory specified there.

Beyond that, make sure your File MRU list does not have a floppy disk file
in it.
