Folder deletion

Hi,
In office 2000 I would like to know how to delete someone else's email
folder which I have permission to see, out of my mail folders list. How do
you do that?
Thanks

My experience has been with O2003 but this might apply. As far as I can asume
you are the delegate to the User A folders.

UIn order to delete now the Delegator has to add you as an 'Author' on
his/her deleted Items Folder in order for you to have the correct permissions
to delete the Delegator's mail Items.

Ah Diane, you have a point. This would work differently if the mailbox is
added and 'Open other User's folder'.

I was referring to the latter after getting delegate rights.

did you add their mailbox to your profile or just the folder as a shortcut?

if it was just the folder on the shortcut bar, right click and delete. if it’s
the mailbox, you need to remove it from the profile.

Yes, and it is in my All Mail Folders. I don't have use for it anymore so I'd
like to get rid of it.
thanks
