I have Outlook for Office 2007 and XP professional.
Every few days my local mail folders become inaccessible.
(I usually find this out when one of my rules, which moves certain
incoming messages into a particular folder, stops working.)
I can always resume access to my folders by quitting Outlook
and restarting it. (But that's a pain.)
I suspect this might have something to do with our IT environment
in which updates are installed automatically, but I don't really know.
