Folder List Gets Confused?

I'm a FP2000 newbie.

After editing several pages in a web, dbl-clicking some of the files in the
Folder List displays the wrong page. It looks like the files got
overwritten by another, but if I exit and re-run FP, everything is OK
again.

What's causing this, how do I avoid it, and why doesn't FP stop it
happening?

Try deleting your FrontPageTempDir and do a search for all *.web files and
delete those as well.

Any thoughts on the cause of the problem?

Yes, happened again. Double-click on a page in folder list, and the wrong
page is displayed. Exit FP, re-launch, then all OK again.

Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?

FP2000/Win98SE

1) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all FP Temp Files
2) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all hidden *.web files
3) Open FP and your web and run Tools Recalculate Hyperlinks

1) Too much junk in Temp folders
2) Corrupt FP meta data caused by 1, and bad closing / publishing events in FP
