I have a folder of WORD files which suddenly don't open up correctly. A
window appears with the file looking like junk and asks you to select an
encoding.
The files were all fine a week ago, and no other folder is impacted. The one
thing that I did do was back up the folder onto the DVD.
Incidentally, the Dell DVD writer doesn't seem to make working data DVDs. I
used Roxio which came with the computer.
Any recovery tool for this? Thanks.
