Folder Structure missing when Hyperlinking

We have had this problem for a long time but when you
activate any function that requires you to open the
folder navigation sub-window such as creating a hyperlink
when FrontPage allows you to locate a file or folder in
your website the window is blank and you can not navigate
to the folders unless you type in the EXACT url. We have
this problem with just about every version of FP and a
website on the SAME server or another server works fine
so this may be a IIS issue or something. Any help would
be great. Pls Email me at [email protected]

By any chance was the Beta version of FP2003 ever installed on this machine?
If so there's a registry entry that needs to be cleared.

Not that I am aware of and it is happening on several
computers not just one and they all have the same issue.

Thanks

It sure sounds a lot like people are opening a page to edit instead of opening
a web and then the page.
This will happen if people use the browser to find a page and then use file >
edit from the browser toolbar.

Make sure people are opening FrontPage and selecting File > Open Web and opening
the website and *then* opening a page to edit it.

Let us know.

No this is not the issue and did not help the problem. We
can open up any other website either the "long way" or
the short browser way and there are no problems. If you
do the same thing either short or long way to this one
website no matter what I can try to create a blank page
and type in text then try to creat a hyperlink the only
thing that comes up is the window with the root website
in the drop down and then under it Where folders and
files need to be it is blank except for any currectly
opened files. You can not navigate anywhere and it shows
no files or folders.

Thanks
