Folder to Floppy

Given that a floppy disc holds only 1.4 mb of data, your files are going to
have to be very small in order to copy a folder full of them to floppy. You
may need to use a utility like WinZip or WinRAR to compress the files and
span them across several discs.

Never ever read from, write to or print from floppy with Word. This is the
most certain method of ensuring document corruption. Copy to the hard disc
and work on the document from there. This is equally relevant to other
removable media such as CDRW.

You do _not_ do any work on a floppy disk from within Word.

In Windows, open the floppy's window on the screen and drag your folder to
it.
