Folders altenative colors to YELLOW - instant recognition !!!

M

Michael P Sheridan

w.r.t MS Windows, Office & all other s/w.

If standard folders (Usually YELLOW) were other colours like say:-

RED = NAMED; Top priority or Sites effecting your PC or List of blocked msgs
etc....
WHITE = NAMED; UK Gov White Papers, My first MS Office worked examples etc...
GREEN = NAMED; Favourite contrysides, Go ahead docs for MY BIZ etc......
YELLOW = ( S T A N D A R D )
BLUE = NAMED; Seascapes, Coldest places on earth, Scuba diving sites etc.....
BLACK = NAMED; Sky at night pics, Our Afro_Asian friends, Black Magic sites
etc...
PINK = NAMED; Girlie singers and bands, Letters from my lover etc......

Get the idea?

Would this cause confusion to the end user? Why not give them this option
on "Click RH mouse button"/New/Folder? Perhaps the user should be warned of
the possible dangers relating to instant recognition whilst involved in File
Handling.

Chow,

Michael

If you right-click on a folder, you can change the icon (at the bottom
of the "customize" tab on Windows XP) to whatever you want...including
pink versions of the standard folder icon, if you have such an icon
handy...
