Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel Email Client: pop I am a new user to Entourage, can't find answers to basics using "Help", and find Entourage a bit opaque compared to Apple's "Mail".

I want to create folders for the categories I have set up and also want to create a Mail View for each of these categories. How do I do create these?

I am a new user to Entourage, can't find answers to basics using "Help", and
find Entourage a bit opaque compared to Apple's "Mail".

Entourage and Mail use different terminology and have different ways of
organizing. You need to learn the Entourage way.

See these links to get started:

Under File select New folder.

This answered the "creating new folders (and subfolders)question" nicely. It also allowed me to realize that if I have my mail in those folders, I don't really need new "Mail Views" because clicking on the category-of-interest mail folder allows me to view the contents just the same as in "Mail Views" for that category.

Incidentally, I find that Microsoft products tend to be more opaque than "inherently-Mac" products. However, it seems to me that Macintosh software has become Microsoft-like (alas!) and vice versa (that's good!).

Thanks.
