Folders Button Always Pushed In

When I use Windows Explorer (I have Windows XP) it opens up but the
folders button is always pushed in and shows another list of the same
folders on the left side. I have done all the reset my folders things, but
nothing I do seems to get the folders button from being pushed in, and so
everytime I use windows explorer I have to push the folders button, so that
it comes out again. There must be some weird setting somewhere that made
it like this, but I can't find it. Anybody know where it is?

A newsgroup devoted to Windows XP would be a better place to get the answer
you need. This one is for Microsoft Access database software. You'll find
several microsoft.public newsgroups dedicated to various versions of Windows
at the free news server news.microsoft.com...

Just click the Folders button on the ToolBar to close the Folders pane.
Alternatively, you can use the Menu View / Explorer Bar / Folders.

Close the Windows Explorer and try re-open Windows Explorer.

Personally, I *always* use the Folders pane. It is quicker to navigate
using the Folders pane.

BTW, this question should be posted to one of the appropriate Windows
newsgroups.
