Folders do not show up

A few of us connect to our website which is NOT on the internal network and
behind a firewall. When I right click a word and try to add a hyperlink the
only thing I can see in the dialog box is open files. I cannot see folders or
closed files at all. Any thoughts? I thought maybe a permission issue but I
am a local admin of the box.

On the hyperlink dialog toolbar, click the folder icon with the green arrow.
