Folders not being published

I'm using FP2002 and the hidden folders like derived are not being uploaded to the web and this is creating problems in that my search form won't work.

I've seen people have the problem of seeing these folders on the web but not their local machine but mine's the opposite - they're on my PC but not on the web!

Any ideas, thanks.
