folders to store read emails

Version: 2008 Processor: Intel Email Client: pop I am a new Mac user. I want to keep some of my read emails by creating sub-folders in my inbox. please help

Under File in the Menu bar select New Subfolder. Be sure to select the Inbox
first.

You can also toggle read/unread under View in the Menu bar.
