Hi.
First of all I do apologize if I posted this question earlier, however I do
not think so
I'm creating a template for a software manual and need to know some things
about the "folio by chapter" option. My software-manual is, chapterwise, by
law controlled by an even larger manual of which I have no control, and
therefore needs to follow this document with regards to chapter numbering.
The big document has chapters going 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 (and now the funny
part),8.1,8.2,8.3,8.4,8.5,8.6,8.7,8.8,9,10,11,12,13,14. Is it possible to
create folio by chapter that will pick this odd numbering up? I think I
tried once, and it didn't do it, the numbering of the heading was 8.2 but in
the footer it wrote it as chapter 2 or something.
