Font and colour changes after sending?

Hi Everyone,
I did complete a search before posting this message. I have Outlook
2003 and find that many of my emails change font and/or colour after
they have been sent to it arrives in the recipients box looking very
unprofessional? If anyone can help please as I run a small business
and it's really bugging me. Thanks in advance. PP
