Font color in Excel table not the same in PPT

Hello
When pasting an Excel table with colored font into PPT, all the text comes
in black. Once I enter the table from PPT and then go back to the slide, the
colors appear. Is there a way or an option to avoid that additional step?
Thanks a lot!

Check your default printer. If it is a black and white printer, this is what
you will see. To get around the problem, you can install the drivers for a
color printer and set that as the default. (You don't actually have to have
the printer. You can download the drivers from the web.) Do your copy and
paste. Once you have your table the way you want it, change the default
printer back to your real printer.

(I know this sounds like a really wacky work around, but it works. Try it.)

The strange thing is that some of my colleagues don't have the problem, and
they have a B/W printer as default printer...
Perheaps it is another setting I need to change too?
Thank you
