Font Previews are in Arabic

When I select a word and open the font window I have this
anomaly. The preview window doesn't show the selection.
Instead it shows the word "sample" in English on the left
and shows something in Arabic on the right.
Can anyone shed some light on this?

Hi Rick,

You have support dor Arabic installed. If you don't need it, get rid of it
in Programs > Microsoft Office Tools > Microsoft Office Language Settings.
