Why is it that when i use office 2007 with Vista the font Calibri is
different when i use it on my desktop when i use office 2003?

is it that Calibri is a vista font only?

Because you are using Office 2007. :) Calibri is a new font for Office
2007 - it has nothing to do with the version of Windows you are using. If
you use Office 2007 on Windows XP you'll see Calibri on it too.

Is thier an add on font for Calibri - as it shows up in Word 2003 -
but as i stated before looks nothing like it - and it changes all the
formatting in my work.

I'd just add the Calibri font to the Fonts folder so Word doesn't substitute
it with another, which is what you are seeing when you view it in Word 2003.

Hi Rob,

In Word the 'font' named on the toolbar is the font the author used, even if that font is not available. With a document opened
that shows Calibri, check in Tools=>Options=>Compatibility\
and click the [Font Substitution] button to see if Windows is 'helping' fill a gap for a missing font with one available in Word
2003.

If you install the Office 2007 converter pack (for Office 2000, XP/2002 and 2003)
http://office.microsoft.com/search/redir.aspx?AssetID=DC102052461033
from http://office.microsoft.com/downloads it should add the core Office 2007 fonts, including Calibri, to your system.
