Hi all, we are seeing an interesting problem here between Powerpoint
versions. It appears that any Powerpoint presentation created in 2000
with embedded items from other office programs (graphs, charts, and text
in Excel, tables in Word) when viewed in 2003, all the text in the
embedded objects is smushed, almost crowded. In 2003, if the user
double-clicks in the embedded object as though to edit it, then clicks
on an empty part of the slide to exit editing mode for the embedded
object, then the text refreshes and looks fine. In order to fix this
problem, we have tried embedding the fonts, I have tried putting the
Powerpoint 2000 viewer on the computer with 2003 for viewing, office
updates and doing a save as on an affected presentation and renaming it,
unfortunately none of this has worked and we are still having this
problem. Does anyone have any suggestions? TIA!
