Font resembling chrome script?

I'm looking for a (preferably free) True Type font that resembles the
chrome script one used to see on car fenders, particularly on '50s
Detroit iron. Anyone know of such a thing, and if so, the name of the
font and where I might download it, please? Thanks.

First place I looked; didn't much care for what I found. It was a case
of getting close, but not precisely what I want, so...didn't do much
good.

This isn't the right newsgroup for you. There are groups for fontaholics
that will be of more use to you.

You may want to take a look at Insert=>Picture=>Wordart gallery in Microsoft Office. You can apply their 'chrome' look to any
Truetype font on your system and adjust the coloring to look more metallic
