Fonts change when pasting slides

J

John Gibson

In Powerpoint 2004, you copy a slide from one presentation to another
and the slide is copied with all fonts and formatting intact.

In Powerpoint 2008, you copy a slide from one presentation to another
and the slide changes format. The only way to correct this is to go
over to the clip menu and say "Keep Source Formatting" Is there
anyway to default 2008 cut and paste actions to the 2004 way?

Or is my CEO going to continue to complain about this.

Thanks

Subtly let it slip to the CEO that Copy/Paste is a proletariate method
employed only by rank amateurs who don't know what they're doing. Later
suggest that s/he use Insert> Slides from File as do the pros :)

If the CEO is bound & determined to imitate the working class, however, you
might alternatively suggest Edit> Paste Special.
