Fonts in Form Fields not saving

I have created several forms for my school district. They were originally created on Word 04. They worked perfectly until the district upgraded to new computers with Leopard and Word 08. New employees can access the forms without issue. Previous employees from last year are encountering significant issues with the fonts in the form fields. The fields were created to be Times or Times New Roman. However whenever they are downloaded from the server and completed the fonts are various other fonts rather than the font the field was created to be. Needless to say, the completed forms are unprofessional and unattractive. The forms are password protected, but even this seems to be removed once the forms are downloaded from the server. It seems to be an issue of the upgrade from Mac 04 to Mac 08, as only staff that used 04 are encountering the issues with 08. New employees that were not users last year are unaffected. Please help! I am at my wits end. Thanks for any direction.

Sorry: Your question has lots of information, but not enough specifics for
me to accurately understand what is happening.

What styles are you using for the form fields?

There are some issues between Word 04 and Word 08, particularly around
password protection.

Can you give us a URL to one of those forms, so I can see what is happening?
