I created a presentation in Powerpoint 2003 (PC) which uses TTF fonts Imago and Minion. I found the .ttf files for those fonts and loaded them into user account's font library using FontBook. When I open the presentation in Powerpoint 2004 (Mac) the font properties pane displays the correct font and font size, text sometimes wraps which doesn't on the PC. Furthermore, when I attempt to choose Imago or Minion, I find various styles of them (e.g., semi-bold, medium, italic, etc.) but not just plain Imago or Minion. If I want to make the presentation in Powerpoint 2004 look the same as in Powerpoint 2003 I have to choose one of these fonts. That would seem to defeat the whole point of using Powerpoint on both platforms and cause compatibility problems going the other way.

Has anybody encountered this problem, and does anybody know how to fix it?

Regards,
Richard
