Fonts selected in Word X for Mac display incorrectly

P

palurie

Sometimes, when I select a font from the drop-down WYSIWYG menu in the
formatting toolbar (for example "Arial"), another font name displays in
the Font Field, and also in the document (for example "American
Typewriter").

The only way I can select "Arial" correctly, is to type it into the
Font Field, and hit "enter".

Is this a known issue? Can one fix this?

I am using 10.3.7; SuitcaseX1 (v. 11.0.2) and Word X for Mac (Service
Release 1)

Thanks

Eliminate Suitcase from the mix. If that doesn't fix it, delete your
system font caches (Panther Cache Cleaner can help with this) and the
Office font cache file (easy to locate in your prefs) and restart the
computer. m.
