Fonts size in Outlook 2003 changes

When composing an e-mail using Outlook 2003 the font size
appears differently than the specified size. When I send
the e-mail the recipient views it in the correct font but
my stationary is not present for them to see. For example
if my stationary is expedition and my font is set to
Bookman Old Style with a size of 12, when I click on new
message my font appears to be 8 or 10 at best definately
not 12.

Why is this happening and how can I resolve it? Please
help.

Can you get the receiver to open the message and then choose Edit-> Edit
Message so that he/she can indeed verify that the font setings has been
changed?
