Football Database

Hi all,

Our company have entered a local football league, and we'd like to keep
track of the match information

At the moment, we want to track player name, match date, goals scored (and
who by) and man of the match (decided by the referee)

I started having a think about it, and got so far...

1 table with Player Names - just 2 fields, ID and Name (there could be over
40 players, not all playing each match)
1 table with Match Info - date of match, man of the match, who played
against, players, goals scored

but it's not right, and i am just looking for suggestions!! or if anyone
knows of a good template? am not helped by my complete NON interest in
football!!

Hi Kirstie, I've designed a database for doing this when the 2002 World Cup
was on. It gave me something to do when my hubby and son were hogging the
telly and screaming at the game. As a fellow unenthusiast, you're welcome to
