Nothing you did wrong. Word sets up those tabs for you by default, but
they
are calibrated for Word's default of 1.25 in margins on each side, and
yours
are different. You can grab the little black arrows on the ruler and drag
them to where you want, for a one-time solution.
If you want those tabs moved for all documents, you will need to modify
the
Footer style and add that modification to the template, as that's where
they
come from.
